As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, he understands a broad spectrum of financial concerns and can help his clients build customized plans and targeted strategies to address them.

What Makes Me Knowledgeable

Paul has been a professional wealth advisor since 1988. He served as president and CEO of King Wealth Planning for more than 36 years and has been a Registered Principal with LPL Financial since 1994. With his extensive industry knowledge, Paul has been a featured lecturer and instructor at many Fortune 500 companies, the Union of American Physicians and Dentists, Good Samaritan Health Systems, and several community colleges. He regularly speaks on topics such as modern portfolio principles, strategies for successful retirement, and asset protection techniques. Additionally, Paul is a past President of the Silicon Valley chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning, where he launched the annual Personal Finance Fair community education event, and he is the author of the “Financial Planning for Career Transitions” course and “The Identity Theft Resource Kit.”

Before joining the financial services industry, Paul worked as a senior engineer in the computer field for Hewlett-Packard Research Laboratories and Digital Equipment Corporation. A long-time entrepreneur, he has launched several business ventures, including String King, a tennis racket restringing service; Financial Educators Group to teach financial planning workshops; and KnightsBridge Castle to combat identity theft. He holds a B.S. in materials science and engineering with a minor in economics from Cornell University.

Getting to Know Me

In his free time, Paul enjoys a variety of activities involving wilderness and adventure, which he captures through photography and explores through hiking, long-distance running, and other outdoor sports. He serves as the Firewise Chairman for his community and volunteers for Men’s Division International, Train 4 Autism, and Habitat for Humanity. Paul and his wife, Helen, keep busy maintaining the Daspah Seyo Trail in California, which they “adopted” through the Bear Yuba Land Trust.
